BattleMech: Galahad III
Rating: 0.50
Comment: Munchy is the best I can do for this one. Targ and Pulse lasers...wow...how so unorignial. Let me guess...this would be the mech of choice for the Freebirth waiting to get the chance to make a name for themselves.

Sorry but I think you need to go back to the drawing board and redo this one. The original had flaws in it for a reason, it wasn't meant to be perfect. It was in a way a chance to out do the Rifleman, but it fell short. Your's is a munchkin's dream or a close second to their dream mech. Dorp the TC and maybe it has a chance.

BattleMech: Sniper Wolf SIW-A0
Rating: 1.50
Comment: Interesting...I have a mech call Gausszilla Jr. packs all Light Gauss Rifles. This mech is certainly close to that line of thinking.

Still it has a similar Kraken feel to it though, so it has potentional at least of fitting in the canon universe to some degree.

BattleMech: Watchman WTC-4D
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Overall it's a good mech and a nice upgrade to the original, but the idea of the original was to give the Marches a cheap mech that would be easy for them to repair and allow them not to break their military budgets on a single mech. The Ferro, the DHS and the ER Large are all expensive and not easy to maintaine, even for the major military units of the houses let alone a March milita unit.

I think if you went with say the Ferro and the laser then that would be a better deal or maybe just the Ferro. To me that would reflect who is going to be using this mech.

BattleMech: Kampfer KAM-20A
Rating: 1.50
Comment: OKay if this is after the 2SW then the high tech wonder toys wouldn't be around at all. Those were all gone by the time the 2nd SW ended so I don't see anyone short of ComStar building a mech like you have done in that era.

If you move it up to the end of the 4th war and current times, then it fits nicely. Otherwise you have something that would have looked great on paper and that is it.

BattleMech: Saint Barbara BAR-1C
Rating: 2.00
Comment: Needs more armor. The idea of medium weight arty mech is interesting but something like this should be more on a heavier frame or a vehicle.

One idea would be to drop the TAG and go with a C3 Slave or something like that. Beyond that I can't think of much to improve this one.

BattleMech: Phoenix Hawk PHX-17
Rating: 4.00
Comment: This one is impressive and for once it's not a "Stealth" mech. For that alone I am going with the 4 rating.

Nice fluff which ties into the mech's weapons and reason for being made to start with. I like that and wish others would do the same when fluffing a mech, would enhance a lot of the stock mechs if they would do that.

Nice design.

BattleMech: Tiger Claw TC-80C
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Okay with the C3 Slave this is a nice scout, but the other weapons and tech choices seem to hint at Solaris 7 style fighting and usage.

I think this one would be more at home there then out on the battlefield.

BattleMech: Hunchback C
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Okay seeing how there is a IIC of the Hunchback already why would we need a C version?

Not to sound harsh or mean but you more or less reinvented the wheel with this one. Nothing really new or different and the IIC has dual UAC20s so you get more out of it. Yours has more ECM, but given that the Clans dont use ECM that much it's a waste of space. Granted it would make sense for all the mechs to have ECM and other things, but not in BT's logic and take on things.

It would be interesting to see this mech against the IIC Hunchback in a fight though.

BattleMech: Fusillade FUS-1B
Rating: 1.50
Comment: I would suggest ditching the RLs and going with real weapons. The RLs are more suited to vehicles then to mechs.

At least with other weapons you can stick around longer and not run out of ammo as fast as with the RLs. These are hit or miss weapons, and once you use them they are gone...if you want one shot weapons go with a bunch of OS Streak SRM2s...At least then you get more then one chance.
