Hasbro's partnership with Oxford to produce product has been going for about two years now.

It depends upon where you shop.
Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Target, and some of the other major retailers have priced them competitively.
Tuesday Morning has older Transformers Kre-Os for about half off, and Ross has picked up a few as well.
