This sculpture has been reposed years ago.
After a black primer and one coat of royal blue color I started with a dry brush not yet knowing the existence of a product called medium matt.
The result so frustrated me 'I had left in the drawer by the flop, until days ago' I went back to another color superimposition hoping to get a better result.
Do not remembering the exact color bases used I improvised.
The decals (which are not very visible in the photo) of the FRR are so 'as the inspiration taken from FM: Comstar, but I think I'm far from exact paint scheme.

Nice, that BNC's looking pretty active there! What about those cannons, extras? I don't recall seeing such big bore pipes on a Banshee mini before.

Most assaults are often set with rather static postures, though they'd have a steady gait in order to cover the kind of terrain they do. I can't even begin to imagine how rapidly any 8/12's legs would beat, but a little suspense of disbelief goes a long way Smile

With lead sculptures you cand do a lot.
The barrels are made from copper tube.

Nice job. What sorts of tooling did you use, or are they glued onto the original miniature without cutting it?
