Course, there would be a good chance the mech would be in worse shape than the Crusader. He pulls out his personal comm and dials. a female voice answers over the staticy line" Hello?"
"Hello, shortcake, it's me. Whatcha got that's light and fast, besides you?" *CLICK*
Hmmm....this could take some real schmoozing to work.

Djinn's voice comes over the com link, "Ok guys, we've got a few hours before liftoff, so's you want to pick up the pace a little? Fang...stop making Eli feel like he has to add bailing wire highlights to your mech, and S D, it looks like you dropped something. In any event, get your mechs on board and get over to the mess hall so's I can see what ya look like outside your metal skin." Her soft giggle sounds almost childlike as she key's off the mic.
Eli shoots a look back at the drop ship a nasty look then starts up the boarding ramp. He guides your mechs into the bays, which unlike the war torn exterior or the ship, are in pristine condition. He sets the locking mechanisms in place and keys up the diagnostics routines, which sends an unlock code to your cockpit. "We.re not really too concerned with problems so that code you got on your screen will open pretty much every door in the ship, so don't forget it. The only doors it won't open are personel quarters and the armory."
The rest of the interior of the bay is in just as good of condition as the mech bays. You count at least three techs who are dressed more like janitors than engineers. Tech tools and even a couple of clan power armor suits that have been re-conditioned into nil-environment emergency repair suits. Their weapons replaced with various cutting torches and welders and the like.

Once you are safely down on the bay floor you are greeted by Syllyrya again as he pulls up on a small hoverlift.
"You guys want to come up into the command center, or are you more into exploring the ship a bit? Most of her has been re-conditioned. We leave the outside looking a bit harsh to fend off too much attention, but the inside is made to be tolerable for the long haul. Hop on." He thumbs the empty seats in the hovercar.

Syllyrya revs up the engine on the lifter and waits for everyone to climb on board. "Better late then never."
The inside of the docking bay, pristine and well stocked, zooms past as he navigates into a suspiciously narrow 10/10 hallway.
He keys on his com-link, "Hey Djinn, you've got company coming. Put on your sunday best and meet us in C&C."
The corridors pass by and plenty of crew are jumping aside into them as Syllyrya speeds through the corridor. You get the feeling that this is an every-day occurrence. A few moments later the skiff slows to a halt outside a gigantic blast door.
"This is our stop. Welcome to the bridge gentlemen." With a wave and a bow he keys a code into the door panel and it hisses into the wall. Inside, thousands of small beeps and lights blinking greet you. The most impressive sight, however, is a young lady.
Wearing a gray jumpsuit with the callsign "coinspinner', her head half covered by a digital screen and headset and the lower half of her body resting comfortably in a motorized wheelchair, Djinn introduces herself.
"Well hello there." Her recognizable voice purrs. "Finally, people who might not destroy every piece of machinery they touch." She giggles pointedly at Syllyrya. "I'm guessing this is more than a social visit so come on over to my office and well get this briefing started." With that, she zooms over to a glass encased operations room.
Once everyone has entered, she clears her throat. "So, intros and experience. Don't be shy, just tell me what you can do. We'll get to the nitty gritty of the op as soon as I know where you'll be most comfortable." She smiles and the entire room becomes a little more comfortable.
*** DESC- 15' / 20' room. Central = 5'/5' holographic projection table (currently off), outlined by 12 ergonomic leaning chairs. Outside walls = Several dozen screens, half of which are monitoring the outside of the ship and the docking bay. Others are presently blank. Ceiling = 2D readout of the dropship showing stress levels and integrity. Floor = Jet black metal plating with traction strips every 6 inches.

"Okay, here's the deal..." Syllyrya clears his throat, "This is a detailed map of the mining post."
Djinn presses a few keys and the 3D imager hums into life showing a skeletal structure frame of the inside of the complex. Detailed specs reveal that is is located 90% underground and that the surface has been heavily re-enforced to provide an entrance to the complex. The surface station is located inside of a crater. Those tactically minded will feel a slight tinge of nervousness as they realize that any assault coming will have the high ground. The below ground facility's span 9 floors and run approximately 300 ft depth. Most of the interior is too small for any mecha but there are several halls that appear to be designed to be suited for mechs and vehicles.
Syllyrya continues, "The lower levels are where the mining is being done. You can see how the ore and goods are transported to the various levels of the complex by these tubes here. " He points at several vertical structures that run between the floors. "These are the major point of contention. If anything jams them up then none of the ore can be transported between the floors due to the smaller hallways. Not my design, just the way we found it. The immense variation in composition, density and heat makes it almost impossible to repair even under the best of circumstances. Pay special attention to the south west tube. That is where the liquid platinum is mined. It runs at over 2000 degrees, or something like that, you can ask Eli about the exact specs, so you can imagine that these tubes are also a cooling mechanism. Coolants as a general rule, are volatile by nature, thus making this tube the most vulnerable."
He tilts his head and circles it around with a series of cracks. "You'll also notice that due to its subterranean location, it would be next to impossible to attack...from the outside." The last words fall into an ominous tone.
"Over the period of the last seven months there have been 6 attacks on the refinery. Mercenaries from several different houses and clans have tried to ground assault the base. Luckily the surface can not support anything over a light mech and our defenses have held. But last month there was no attack. I believe that several units have infiltrated the base and are making attempts to disarm the defense grid and or destabilize the mining tubes. The main reason of this is not to gain control of the resources, but instead to gather access to the main comm station."
"We have yet to decrypt all of the information in the database, but the gist of it is a technological experiment on astrogation and planetary navigation. Some kind of super detection system that would enable a dropship to decrease flight time by over 25%. Again, Eli can give out more details than I. There is also a construction bay located on the third level of the complex." he points out a large open and unfilled space. "None of the records for this have been decrypted yet. I'm not entirely sure why they have been so well cyphered. We are just about to get the door cypher unlocked, it should be ready by the time we arrive. "
He pauses and waits for the information to settle in.
