I thought that Steiner mech of yours was going to demolish my Davion mech? When exactly did you plan to start?

You do seem to be following the chicken of the sea strategy very well. If you continue, next turn you will jump to hex 1415, since I've taken away two of your heavy woods hexes.

Of course you could surprise me and jump to 1205, but there's no way you'd jump that close to an AC20.

Crikey! Will "someone" engage Hardware? I was in the fight for my life starting turn 1 with ICER. This guy's still mint in round 14. WTH! There is such a thing as "getting lucky"...but I think you at least have to get into range.

Hardware is trying to engage, but Ruger is not. Ruger is following the established rules.

I hope Jymset (et al) are watching, because eventually they will all have the same problem in catching him.

So much for all the talking Ruger did in the early game, eh?

Yes, I get it. I'm just trying to egg Ruger on. I fully understand his tactics, but the Solaris crowd is getting bored.....zzzzzzzzzz

I'm just setting him up...

Nah...actually, it comes from having very little real time to deal with the game at the moment, especially on days when the orders are due...I'm usually working 40 to 50 hours a week at my job, then there is modding of the Main board on the CBT site (about 750 messages to go through since I was last online at about 1 this afternoon...not counting any other forums on that site), then there is the hunt for a real job, other emails I have to attend to (I sometimes have 50 or 60 of those to go through as well), some real life stuff I'd like a chance to do, some books I'd like to read, some shows I'd like to watch, etc...really, this game is coming in dead last on my priority list right now...

Let me put it this way...I'm currently putting about 2 to 3 seconds of thought per week into my moves...and Hardware STILL hasn't killed me...

That should say something...

The average number you've needed to hit is 10.5

The average number Hardware has needed to hit is 11.33

Hardware's mech is still "mint" even though he's now got 2 mechs shooting at him--that says far more about his abilities than not being able to kill a mech he needs an 11 to hit on the average turn.

And if the reason you're not truly engaging Hardware is you don't have time to play then step down and allow a player from the waiting list to take over. I'm postive one of them will do everything in their power to eliminate Ray.

BTW, after speaking to several players after previous games the average player spends less than 5 minutes a week on this game (discounting joining in to any e-mail smack going on )

Actually, I was already considering that (stepping down)...

Go ahead and have one of the others come in...it'll be better for everyone concerned...I just thought I'd have more time to devote to it...

Besides, you haven't been as lucky on the dice with me this time as you were in the last game

OK, I'll have someone else jump in for you.

The average roll in the lance on lance game you played was 7.375...the current average roll in this game has been 7.333

It's just your to-hit average from this game is so high compared to last (8.175 for last, 10.5 for this)

Oooops, got those backwards...the average to hit for your side was 7.375 and the average game roll was 8.175...

...so yes, my dice we not as hot as last game (but still better than average )
