(AKA, my first AT2 unit in ages. Hope this works.)

Armor Allocation:
Fore: 238 points +.25 structure
Right: 180 points +.25 structure
Left: 180 points +.25 structure
Aft: 122 points +.25 structure

Variants: The MK II is a factory model that strips
out the mech bays in favor of two additional fighter
bays as well as towing equipment and the structural
supports necessary. This version is used as a cargo
hauler. Another, radical variant that is rumored to
exist is the MK III, in which the cargo bay, some of
the weapons (threee PPCs, and four mediums), and
three mech bays are stipped out to make room for a
Naval Laser 35 in the fore. The fourth mech bay is
turned into another fighter hanger. Two additional
double heat sinks are added to help with the heat. It
is believed that this version is a ship-hunter craft,
and that the third hanger is really used for marine
shuttles. However, as there have only been scattered
reports of this unit and leaks from the factory,
nothing can be confirmed. As it is, though, the NL
35 in itself is a mystery; although it grants range, it
doesn’t do enough damage to seriously threaten too
many spacecraft. What it could threaten would close
to within range shortly- the only logical conclusion
is that it was meant to be a pack hunter unit.

Fluff: With everybody’s economies down the toilet
due to the recent fighting and political turmoil, the
Shrikebat was designed. The intent was to provide a
dropship that would be a ‘budget’ unit- it would be
capable of fulfilling multiple roles, reducing the need
for more specialized and more expensive dropships.
The primary (MK I) configuration is designed as a
multi-purpose craft, capable of serving as both a
mech and cargo hauler, depending on how the bays
are configured- the cargo bat can easily be stripped
out for another mech/aerofighter bay, or the
mech/fighter bays removed for more cargo. The MK
I is highly flexible. Second in the flexibility is the
MK II, which is a dedicated cargo hauler, but still
retians the weapons and has an increased fighter
compliment as escort. The rumored MK III,
however, is soley a ship hunter, if it even exists.
(There is also another rumor that the Shrikebat was
designed around Comstar specifications. The fighter
bays are designed so that they and the cargo bay
can connect to the mech bay with little modification
from a competent shipyards or starport; as such, it
can easily be configured for any type of Comstar
level 2 deployment unit, depending on the contents
of the unit. A smaller unit may actually even have
the luxury of their own personal HPG system!)

Nope- according to Ronin's Aerotech 2, they weigh 150 tons, the same as fighter bays.

'Mech and Fighter bays both weigh in at 150 tons. I believe small craft bays weigh in at 200 tons which may be the source of the confusion.

Before I forget again, this is made by Rasalhauge Aerospace LTD. of Orestes as a joint FRR/Comstar facility.
