Overview:
For many years the Quickdraw has been a moderatly popular design,
but lacked any real specilization to make it a grand design. The
so-called "suprise" one shot SRM pack became less and less of a
suprise as pilots dealt with it on the field, and more of a cliche
addition to a fight. TSi decided to take the Quickdraw and
re-engineer it to meet the modern needs of the battlefield. Design
philosophies differed for the upgrade, and the OTL-HHH Outlaw was
chosen, but the QKD-LTL stayed in the test phase.
Capabilities:
As with many TSi designs the new Quickdraw is based on an Endo
Steel chasis, powered by the effiecient Light Engines supplied to
them by Nissan. By using the Nissan 300 Light, TSi was able to keep
the top speed of over 85 kph, as well as the 150 meters of Jumping
Capability. Armor was upgraded by half a ton as well.
The changes
to the Quickdraw were, as originally intended, internal. The Delta
Dart LRM pack was kept, but is now slaved to an Artemis IV FCS,
providing greater accuracy. The 4 medium scale lasers were kept, 2
of them upgraded with better range, the other 2 replaced with Pulse
lasers. The un-suprising SRM-4 OS was taken out and replaced by a
Streak SRM-6 pack. 3 double heat sinks were installed in the
process.
Known Variants:
The TSi has no intention of building this Quickdraw, but the
OTL-HHH Outlaw is in the works.

Sorry about messing this poll up. This poll has ID 127 in the database, which doesn't seem to want to increment more then that, so obviously I'm fiddling with it.
