Mordel.Net code release 2.13.1 continues forward in making the unit submission utility more robust. Areas of change included some bug fixes, design changes and enhancements as detailed below:
Bug Fixes
The Battle Value calculations for units which contained XXL engines were incorrect. Previously, XXL engines did not count as generating 6 heat for a run. As a result the calculations were off. This has been fixed and all units potentially impacted have had their BVs recalculated accordingly.
The code has been corrected so that files with special characters; such as รถ or double quotes, properly generated and was able to be downloaded.
Design Changes
The length of the Model field has been increased to 25 characters to account for units with special designations after the model number.
The front page has been updated such that units which are canon designs will have their member designation appear as Catalyst Game Labs.
Updated the auto-recalculation code such that if no information changes during recalculation, the unit is not flagged as updated.
Enhancements
A new checkbox has been added during design of a unit that allows you to post a TRO formatted post of your submitted unit to the Design Submissions forum of the Bar & Grill. The default value for this is checked, but users can uncheck it if they do not want their submission appearing in the forums.
A new option to download your unit in Technical Readout format has been added when viewing a unit. This will generate a text file and provide the readout format similar to what is generated from Heavy Metal Pro, Solaris Skunk Werks, etc.
