I was going to wait until I had a bit more substance before pushing an update out, but there was a bug preventing me from updating the Sources for Introductory units which prevented me from associating them to the RS: 3050. So, here we are...
- Changed alert prompts and confirmations to a more customized, aesthetically appealing format. I always did hate the generic boring one that pops up in the browsers. This is really only implemented in the Custom Unit section, but will propagate it out over time to the rest of the site. Give it a try by trying to submit a design with no Name.
- Users can now filter the unit list presented to them on Technology, Rules level and Tonnage. This is in addition to Name/Model and Source. I'll add more over time as well. If you have a preference for what would be more useful, let me know and I can prioritize it.
- Fixed a bug where the system allowed you to undistribute the Lower Arm and Hand actuators from an OmniMech design where those actuators were part of the Base configuration. This wouldn't have been so bad if the system gave you an error and forced you to put them back, but it let you submit the updated design without those actuators, which of course is against the OmniMech construction rules.
- And of course, as mentioned above, fixed a bug where I couldn't load an Introductory level design via the admin UI ,which utilizes the same code as the user facing part but handles things a bit differently (at least differently enough to have caused an issue).
That's it. I'll be making more updates over time. Though it seems at this point I'm still the only one who uses this. Hopefully once I get all the updates made and pushed out so the utility is inline with the current universe, it will attract folks once again.
