As part of my updates to site messaging, all existing data will be purged. I'm not sure of the timeline yet as I'm updating the code to allow for sending a message to multiple recipients. Because of that I need to restructure the tables.
Advanced warning in case you have anything in there you want to keep for some reason. It'll soon be gone...

The updates to the site messaging system have been completed. You should now be able to send site messages to other members. I've also tweaked the system to allow for sending messages to multiple recipients. And of course you can 'Reply' or 'Reply All'. I did away with the 'Quote' option as all replies are automatically quoted.
Let me know if you experience anything not working properly.

I've never understood the saving of PM's...if it's important information, copy it to your PC.

Or print it! I decided to purge because the newest message was from over a year ago since the system hadn't been working for sending new ones. I figured anything that old shouldn't be relevant anyways.

Aw you know me, I'm a nostalgic old fart these days. I can live without the content, but those old messages reminded me with whom I interacted way back when. Memory lane and all.
Seriously though, I'm hugely excited at all the movement on the site this year

Well, I'm trying to make some good updates. Make some of the sections more usable again. Essentially try to get the activity back here. Give folks a reason to come.
