I've a question for you on initiative..

I had been assuming that we submitted our movements and you chose yours without looking at where we were going, then fire was simultaneous.. But the initiative roll is making me curious.. What exactly is that used for? Is it only for collisions?

Can I run through the MG group in front of me?

The Initiative is the same as that of the standard table top. A Move X units, B Move X units, etc.

It is used to resolve the blind submissions on both sides and as you said resolve collisions. Though I try to weight movement in your favor when resolving. Ex. If you submitted a walk or run order, I would resolve the infantry before resolving your move so that your path was clear.

Fensternmaker, from what little I can make of the Marik Radio chatter, it looks like you guys are raising holy hell. If I had to guess, I'd say congratulations on blowing that train engine.

ooc- Yes. They destroyed one of the two train engines that they caught on site. At this point I am going to point something out that they players have assumed and may want to reconsider: Were the trains being loaded?

I am very surprised how well it is going. But I wonder given the armor damage damage suffered if the lance has stayed one turn to long.

Fenstermaker again keys his coms, "OK.. withdraw west, cover each other. We need to leave now. Their mechs are on line so get moving."

He listens as the company channel lights up, "Timbiqui Dark, Full liter." He chuckled softly and wondered how Stinger was going to be able to get a beer only served on Timbiqui.

Then the SRMs rained down on his mech. "Dammit... Move."
