Hi,
Probably doing something really stupid, but I can't find PPC capacitors! I'm designing Inner Sphere in the early Jihad era (3071), so PPC capacitors should be available. Any help much appreciated!!

Nothing stupid at all. This is just a learning curve for the design tool. So first, PPC Capacitors are Advanced during the Jihad era, so you have to be sure the Rules Level (on the General screen) is set to 'Advanced'. Once you do that, you equip them to specific PPCs on the Distribution screen. Once the PPC is placed, there's a gear icon which appears next to the PPC. Click that and it brings up an Options dialog for that weapon. One of the options will be 'Add capacitor'. You check that box and you're good to go!
