BattleMech: Watakushi WTK-5K
Rating: 3.00
Comment: Congratulations! It's a brute. MRM's aren't quite to my taste--I don't like the very small short range and extended long, and hate the penalty to hit. But, with C3 they are much better. Provided that hostile ECM doesn't mess up your network, it can definately hammer someone pretty hard. Like the secondary weapons as well as fluff. A good solid, 'Mech--even if I wouldn't want to personally drive one!

BattleMech: Bayonet B4Y-2A
Rating: 2.50
Comment: It has some major heat issues, but it is solid, heavily armored, and dependable. In 3025-era type campaigns, it could easily replace Enforcers--but the lack of an autocannon could well be the reason that the Davions eventually shelved it. They do like their smoking ACs they do.

BattleMech: Lancer LNC-3R
Rating: 3.00
Comment: It's kind of like a lighter, faster Trebuchet, but with less long-range firepower. It does have more endurance, however, and about the same level of armor protection. For a fast strike/reaction force, it is certainly a good 'Mech. Nice job.

BattleMech: Mauler MAL-ZR
Rating: 3.00
Comment: I've always liked the Mauler--this version is pretty cool. If I may make a few comments, however: First, dump the CT ammo and move the head mounted medium laser to that location; now you have twin ML's firing rear. Second, for that one ton left, how about a C3 slave? Mounted in the head. After all, it is a Draconis 'Mech.

You have to watch your heat in this 'Mech--LRM and UAC's produce 14 plus movement, medium lasers produce 12 or 18 plus movement. You only get into problems when you try to fire both at the same time. I'd take one, even with the LRM ammo in the CT, but consider what I've said.

BattleMech: Reliant GZT-REL-2C
Rating: 4.00
Comment: I like it. Good fluff, decent weapons arrangement, excellent reasoning why it was developed. Plus, the one surviving model is in Taurian space. Love it.

BattleMech: Protector PTR-23F
Rating: 1.00
Comment: Where to begin? GhostBear, it is an interesting idead for a design, but--as SD said--you packed way too many heat sinks on the machine. You have seven tons of dead weight, right there. And of all canon 'Mechs, this thing is slower than every single one except the Annihilator (which sucks, in my own humble opinion). Increase the speed to 3/5, you might get that just from the heat sinks and down-grading the LRM to 15 pack.

BattleMech: WarBoar GZT-WB1
Rating: 2.50
Comment: A decent level 1 Mech for the 3025 era. The only problem I see with the design is the lack of ammunition for the AC-20. 10 rounds just is not enough--I would suggest dropping one medium laser for an additional ton of ammo.
